Dear GCBC Parents:
Happy Easter!
He is risen…He is risen indeed!
This Sunday Adam Leadbetter will be teaching from Mark 16:1-8. He states the question, “Who are you expecting to meet on Easter Sunday – a dead man in a tomb or a risen king?” This is a great question to discuss with your children.
What does it mean that Jesus rose from the grave? Why is it important that Jesus was resurrected? I’ll attach some links to a couple of good videos below that will help you in discussing these questions.
Jesus’ death and resurrection are both significant for believers. His death paid the price for our sins, and his resurrection gives us victory for eternal life. This should lead us to worship, and not just on Easter but every day.
I pray you have a lovely celebration with your families as you reflect on the love of our heavenly Father who sent His Son to bring us into a right relationship with Him.
