Dear GCBC Parents:

I truly hope and pray that you are using these Sundays to worship in a special way together as families. I also pray you are taking opportunities to share your faith in Jesus with your children each and every day throughout the week. What a unique and wonderful opportunity God has given us in this time of social distancing to pass down our love for Jesus to our children.

Below are suggestions and ideas for families to use during their time of worship tomorrow. Take just a few moments to prep these things for your children and encourage them to discover truths from the sermon and God’s Word for themselves. I understand some of you may not be able to print the activity sheets provided. Feel free to grab craft supplies, and ask your children and youth to listen and express their thoughts and feelings on what they hear during the sermon or in what they read in the verses listed below.

My prayer for us this week comes from Colossians 1:9-10 (NLT) and relates to the sermon on wisdom. “…We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honour and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.”

God Bless,

Mandy
